On April 23, 2021, Irina Petrovna Vodneva, Head of the Polotsk Museum of Local Lore, took part in the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual Problems of Source Studies", which was held at the Vitebsk State University. The scientific forum brought together researchers from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and Latvia, who shared their best results in recent years. The historians raised questions concerning the theory and research practices in the territory of the post-Soviet republics. The sources on the history of relations between the Belarusian lands and the states of the German Order in Prussia and Livonia also attracted the attention of scientists. During the conference, there was also a presentation of new publications that are in demand by the time and the scientific community.
